About the Save-An-Eye All-Star Football Game
The Save-An-Eye All-Star Football Game is a Northwest Pennsylvania tradition that brings together graduating high-school football seniors for one final chance to compete on the field—representing their schools, their communities, and the values the game teaches: teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and leadership.
More than just a game, Save-An-Eye is a community celebration with a purpose. Since its founding, the event has raised funds to support vision care, eye health awareness, and community initiatives benefiting students and families throughout our region. Proceeds help provide eye exams, eyewear assistance, and educational resources to those who may otherwise go without—making a real difference far beyond the stadium lights.
Each year, the game showcases top talent from District 10 and surrounding areas, uniting players into City vs. County rosters led by volunteer coaches who donate countless hours to mentor these athletes through practices, community outreach, and game week experiences.
Our players earn their place not only through their performance on the field, but through commitment to sportsmanship, character, and teamwork. For many, the Save-An-Eye game marks a meaningful milestone—the final chapter of their high-school football careers and the beginning of their next journeys in college, the workforce, and beyond.
Behind the scenes, Save-An-Eye is powered by a dedicated partnership of local coaches, athletic boosters, volunteers, sponsors, and community supporters who believe in using the power of sports to do good. Together, we create an event that celebrates youth athletics while giving back to the community that supports them year-round.
We invite you to be part of this tradition—whether as a player, coach, volunteer, sponsor, or fan—and help us continue to honor student-athletes while making a lasting impact on our region.
One game. One community. One powerful mission—Save-An-Eye.
